Seabrae Manor Community Events February 2026 Highlights
February brought many meaningful moments across the community, with residents sharing stories, laughter, and time together. From outings and celebrations to friendly competition and visits with young friends, Seabrae Manor community events created opportunities for connection, reflection, and everyday enjoyment.
A Day at Caboolture Historical Village
One of the month’s memorable outings was a visit to Caboolture Historical Village. Walking through the historic buildings and displays sparked plenty of conversation as residents shared memories of earlier times.
It was a chance to reminisce, reflect, and enjoy the experience together. For many, the visit brought back familiar stories about family life, work, and community from years gone by.
Valentine’s Day High Tea
The dining room was filled with the gentle sound of harp music as residents gathered for an early Valentine’s Day High Tea. The soft melodies created a calm and welcoming atmosphere while everyone enjoyed a relaxed morning tea together.
Moments like these offer time to pause, talk, and appreciate each other’s company. The day was simple, warm, and shared in good spirit.
Shrove Tuesday – Pancake Day
Residents rolled up their sleeves for Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day. The kitchen was busy as pancakes were cooked, shared, and enjoyed.
While the pancakes were certainly popular, the conversations around the table were just as important. Many residents reflected on cooking pancakes for their own families over the years, sharing stories and traditions from their kitchens at home.
Baby Shower Celebration for Emily
The community gathered for a special Baby Shower Celebration for Emily, marked with an afternoon tea and plenty of friendly games.
Residents joined in activities such as measuring the bump, counting jelly babies, and guessing the baby’s gender. Ina impressed everyone by measuring the bump exactly, while Valerie came closest in the jelly baby guessing game with 425 when the jar held 422.
Now there’s a sense of anticipation as everyone waits to find out who guessed the baby’s gender correctly in the coming weeks.
Seabrae Manor Winter Olympics
Inspired by the international sporting event, residents held their own Seabrae Manor Winter Olympics.
The competition included a lively game of curling that quickly became a favourite. Residents approached the challenge with determination and good humour.
The following day brought Seabrae Manor Winter Olympics: Skiing Event, where Janice claimed first place after an impressive performance. The activities sparked plenty of laughter and friendly rivalry throughout the room.
Intergenerational Visits Return
The much-loved Intergenerational Kindy Visits have begun again for 2026. These regular visits bring residents and young children together to share activities, conversation, and creativity.
There’s something special about these gatherings. Residents enjoy hearing about the children’s interests, while the young visitors are always curious to listen to stories and take part in shared activities. Many are already looking forward to the next visit in a fortnight.
Lunar New Year Celebration
The community also marked the Lunar New Year Celebration with colour, culture, and shared food.
Residents watched a vibrant performance from talented Chinese dancers, enjoyed Yum Cha, and took part in Chinese art activities. The celebration offered a chance to experience new traditions and appreciate the rich cultural diversity within the community.

Across the past two weeks, the Seabrae Manor aged care community update reflects what matters most here: people spending time together, sharing experiences, and building a sense of belonging day by day.
