Building Friendships and Community

There are many opportunities throughout the week to connect with others, make new friends and enjoy shared experiences. Residents can take part in daily activities, outings, celebrations and community events, while our shared spaces provide welcoming places to sit, chat and spend time together.

Family and community connections are an important part of life at Seabrae Manor. We welcome families and friends to visit and regularly host events and celebrations that bring residents, loved ones and the wider community together.

Activities Tailored to Your Interests

Our Lifestyle Program is designed around the people who call Seabrae Manor home. Activities are varied and regularly changing, with opportunities to participate in things that reflect individual interests, passions, abilities and cultural backgrounds.

Something for everyone

Our Lifestyle Program is designed to offer a balance of social, physical, creative, cultural and meaningful activities. Residents can participate as much or as little as they wish, depending on their interests, abilities and how they’re feeling on the day.

Some activities are enjoyed in groups, while others provide quieter opportunities to spend time doing something personally meaningful. Our team takes the time to get to know each resident and understand what they enjoy, so activities can be adapted to suit individual interests and abilities.

Whether it’s tending the garden, enjoying music, joining an exercise class, heading out on an excursion or simply sharing a conversation over a cup of tea, everyday moments can create connection and a sense of belonging.

From exercise and gardening to music, art, outings and community events, residents can choose how they spend their time and enjoy activities that bring purpose, connection and enjoyment to everyday life.

Food, culture and celebration

Our dining experience extends beyond everyday meals. Throughout the year, our kitchen team prepares special menus and caters for celebrations and cultural events, including Italian Day, Mother’s Day High Tea, Christmas in July, Easter, Bastille Day and seasonal Christmas celebrations.

These occasions bring residents together and create opportunities to enjoy familiar flavours, discover something new and celebrate special moments with friends, family and the wider community.

Meals are about more than food

Mealtimes are an important part of social life at Seabrae Manor. They provide opportunities to connect with others, share conversation and enjoy a sense of community.

Food can also create wonderful memories and evoke familiar places and experiences, from a seaside fish and chips outing to a festive barbecue in the park. Our approach to dining is about creating enjoyable experiences while supporting the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of our residents.
