Residents competed in a friendly yet focused game of Bocce. Their competitive spirits usually shine through with a dash of laughter and encouragement.
Bocce is a ball sport with ancestry from ancient games played in the Roman Empire. Bocce was initially played amongst Italian migrants to Australia but has over time become more popular in the wider community.
The sport has won over residents at Seabrae Manor Aged Care. The game is simple and can be played by people of all ages, skill level and you can use just about anything as a Bocce court!
We encourage our residents to participate in as much or as little physical activity as they like. Sports are played usually at least once a week. We have a great variety of sports and activities such as yoga, arm chair tennis and tai chi just to name a few!
