Seabrae Manor has been awarded the Petrie Electorate Excellence in Aged Care award. This award was presented to our home by no other but the Federal Member for Petrie, Luke Howarth. The award was a result from all the nominations from all our residents, family and friends.
Luke Howarth explained that he had written to members of the community in his electorate to seek feedback on how they perceived the care and services offered by residential aged care facilities located in the electorate.
Luke said he wanted to show case aged care facilities that are providing positive and great care to residents.
On the certificate that was presented it stats, ‘Congratulations to the staff at Seabrae Manor for outstanding commitment and service to the residents of Seabrae Manor’.
Everyone was treated to a lovely morning tea and Luke donated a beautiful Australian Flag to hang in the home.
On Luke’s way out, he stopped in front of our beautiful angel wings for a quick picture. He simply couldn’t resist!
