Celebrations kicked off a little early at Seabrae Manor for St Patrick’s Day. We celebrated with an Irish afternoon tea where all the food was green! There was also a little nip of delicious Baily’s Irish Cream! Yum!
The afternoon was filled with treats, Limerick’s and lots of singing.
There were a few competitions on the day for all our residents to participate in. We had an Irish coin toss where residents had to toss a coin to see who could get it the farthest! There was also a best dressed competition. Elsie won our ‘best dressed’ St Patricks Day competition, with her handmade Irish hat.
On Sunday, some of our residents attended the ‘Poppera in the Park’ concert held at Peninsula Village, and the ladies were full of praise.
Everyone enjoyed the celebrations.
