Seabrae Manor Community Connections: A Month of Music, Memories and Meaningful Moments
Seabrae Manor March 2026
At Seabrae Manor Aged Care, staying connected as a community is an important part of daily life. Throughout March, there were plenty of opportunities for people to come together, share experiences and enjoy time with one another.
The month began with a visit from the Ye Old Brass Band. Their performance brought a mix of familiar tunes and lively music into the home, with many people singing along and enjoying the atmosphere. Live music created a relaxed and enjoyable morning for everyone involved.
March also saw the launch of Seabrae Manor’s updated look, including a new website and refreshed visual style. The changes aim to make it easier for families and visitors to access information and stay in touch.
St Patrick’s Day was marked with a day of light-hearted activities. Games such as potato bowls and coin toss were followed by themed art and bingo sessions. It was a fun way to spend time together and share a few laughs.
A trip to Shorncliffe Pier gave everyone a chance to spend time by the water. Despite the cloudy weather, the outing offered a change of scenery, gentle movement and time to chat. For some, it also brought back memories of past visits to the area.
Harmony Day was another highlight, with staff wearing traditional clothing and sharing food from different cultures. It was a simple and meaningful way to recognise the diversity within the team and learn more about each other.
Later in the month, a visit to Redcliffe Museum gave people the chance to explore local history. The exhibits sparked conversations and stories, linking past experiences with the present.
These moments, both big and small, help shape everyday life at Seabrae Manor.
