Beautiful Wings Project

Over the last 8 weeks, residents at Seabrae Manor Aged Care has been producing a special art project. They have been busy working around the clock by colouring, painting and cutting over 260 feathers to create a beautiful set of Angel inspired wings. Originally this was a group activity, with only a few residents working on the feathers, but it gained momentum and more residents joined in along the way! This was a perfect activity for residents to simply relax, unwind and take a breath from their busy day. These feathers were made by individuals, but when combined they created a beautiful set of wings. As the wings hang proud, there is a little motto that goes along with them “Your wings already exists, all you have to do is fly”.
