October was a wonderful month of connection, creativity and shared joy at Seabrae Manor, with residents enjoying a range of meaningful activities that celebrated companionship, memories and everyday pleasures. Our Seabrae Manor aged care community life continues to thrive through experiences that bring people together and create a genuine sense of belonging.

One of the highlights was our Kindy Kid Visit, which filled the home with laughter and warmth. The energy and curiosity of the children created beautiful intergenerational moments, sparking smiles and heartfelt conversations among residents.

Residents also took part in Strawberry Jam Making, an activity that encouraged hands-on participation and rich reminiscing. Many shared stories of how they used to make jam at home, passing on treasured traditions. Each resident proudly took home a jar to enjoy at their leisure, making the experience even more special.

A visit from Suncare Volunteer Vicki and Bella the Labrador brought comfort and happiness to everyone involved. Bella’s gentle nature and friendly presence sparked happy memories and meaningful emotional connections, reminding us of the powerful impact of animal companionship.

Our kitchen was buzzing during Homemade Sausage Roll Cooking, where residents cooked up a storm using the air fryer. The aroma alone created excitement, and the joy of sharing freshly made sausage rolls made the experience a true crowd favourite.

To round out the month, residents enjoyed Ten Pin Bowling, an activity that combined friendly competition, movement and plenty of laughter. It was a fantastic way to stay active while enjoying time together.

These moments reflect the heart of Seabrae Manor aged care community life, where every day is shaped by engagement, respect and a strong sense of home.
