December 2025 was a month filled with joy, laughter, and meaningful moments at Seabrae Manor Aged Care. As the festive season unfolded, our community came together to celebrate Christmas traditions, share precious time with loved ones, and welcome the new year with warmth and connection.
Christmas Market Delights
The festive season began with our much-anticipated annual Christmas market. Held two weeks before Christmas, this beloved event transformed Seabrae Manor into a bustling marketplace filled with an array of wares for residents and families to explore. The market provided a wonderful opportunity for families to spend quality time together whilst discovering unique gifts and enjoying the festive ambience.
Blinging Our Wheels
In a delightful display of creativity, our residents participated in a festive wheelchair decorating activity called "Bling My Wheels". Armed with tinsel, baubles, and plenty of sparkle, residents transformed their mobility aids into dazzling works of art. The activity sparked laughter, conversation, and friendly competition as everyone showcased their decorating prowess.
Carols with Pine Rivers Municipal Brass Band
Music filled the air when the Pine Rivers Municipal Brass Band graced us with an enchanting evening of Christmas carols and entertainment. The band's fantastic performance created a warm, nostalgic atmosphere as classic carols transported everyone back to Christmases past whilst creating new memories in the present.
Annual Christmas Lunch
The highlight of our Seabrae Manor Christmas celebrations was our annual Christmas lunch, where residents, families, and staff gathered to share food and merriment. The dining room was beautifully decorated, creating a festive backdrop for treasured memories. Residents delighted in spending precious time with their loved ones, sharing stories and laughter over a delicious meal. The warmth and love that filled the room exemplified what Christmas is truly about—connection, gratitude, and celebrating the people who matter most.
Welcoming 2026 in Style
As December drew to a close, Seabrae Manor residents gathered for a festive New Year's Eve Happy Hour to farewell 2025 and welcome 2026 with optimism and cheer. With a few bubbles to toast the occasion, residents reflected on the year gone by and shared their hopes for the months ahead.
A Month to Remember
December 2025 at Seabrae Manor showcased the very best of community living. From the bustling Christmas market to the heartfelt annual lunch, each celebration demonstrated our commitment to creating meaningful experiences that foster genuine connection and engagement. As we look ahead to 2026, we carry forward the spirit of connection and celebration that made December so special.
